How It Works
Teams of three adults (may) dress up as their favourite literary characters, movie stars or theatre performers (see Past Bees in the menu for costume ideas!) and then participate in a traditional, yet fun and very exciting, spelling bee, in support of Kingston Literacy.
In addition to their team entry fee ($325) team members collect pledges for Kingston Literacy.
At the end of the evening, prizes are awarded to the teams for:
Best Spellers Most Team Spirit Best Costumes Most Pledges Raised
The night of the Bee, there is also a Silent Auction. The Bee is such an entertaining event, that teams and spectators alike return year after year.
