More Grate Bees in the Province
We always knew we had a winner on our hands with this event, but it wasn’t until 2004 that we developed our “Bee in a Box” kit, enabling other organizations to purchase the infrastructure and word collections for this event, and hold their own Grate Groan-Up Spelling Bees. Both the event title and the logo are trademarked. There are now four other organizations in the province running their own unique versions of the Bee: Rotary Club of South Wellington; Georgina Public Libraries; Literacy North Halton; and Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise.
